The Grote Kerk in Breda houses many sculptures and sculptural elements. Among the most impressive features is the tomb of Count Engelbert II of Nassau and his wife Cimburga of Baden. Indeed, this is – as far as we know – the oldest Renaissance sculpture in the northern Netherlands.
