24 - 25 November 2026
Colloquium

On Tuesday, 24 November, CODART will visit the Museum Hof van Busleyden to view the exhibition Burgundian Dining: At the Table in the Low Countries.

Curator of Old Masters, Hannah Iterbeke, will provide an introduction to the exhibition, followed by an exclusive visit. During this gathering, CODART members will dive into Mechelen’s 500-year history to discover the roots of our culinary culture. The exhibition connects the sensory world of historic banquets with today’s questions about abundance and waste. Next, Head of Collections & Exhibitions Hannah Thijs will tell us more about the museum’s refurbishment and guide us through the newly renovated spaces in person.
