Lectures within session 1 'Masters of Material: Workshop Practices and Mixed Media Innovations', session 2 'From Ceiling to Tomb: The Chapel as a Mixed Media Ensemble' and session 3, the book presentation of 'Taking Shape. Sculpture of the Low Countries, c. 1400-1600’.
Coffee, tea and lunch breaks will take place in the ‘Seminar Room’; lectures in ‘Lecture Theatre 2’ at The Courtauld Institute of Art (Vernon Square, Penton Rise). Please note that this is different from The Courtauld Gallery (Somerset House, Strand).
Speakers and chairs are invented for the conference dinner at Ognisko Restaurant (55 Exhibition Road, SW7 2PN).

Lectures within session 4 'Archival Insights and Material Semantics: Understanding Mixed Media Sculptures'.
Coffee, tea and lunch breaks will take place in the ‘Research Forum'; lectures in ‘Lecture Theatre 2’ at The Courtauld Institute of Art (Vernon Square, Penton Rise). Please note that this is different from The Courtauld Gallery (Somerset House, Strand).
You are responsible for your own transportation to the start of the excursions. Please note that bags, trolleys or large backpacks are not allowed in the museums.
- If you join us for the object session at The British Museum, we meet at the Information Desk (the Great Court, Great Russell St) at 14:20. You are advised to book a free ticket in advance via: www.britishmuseum.org/visit. Group One will consist of individuals with last names A-G, and Group Two will include those with last names H-Z.
- If you join us for the object session at The Victoria and Albert Museum, we meet at the Learning Centre Reception in the V&A’s Learning Centre, Exhibition Road Entrance. Group One will consist of individuals with last names A-O and will meet there at 14:40, and Group Two will include those with last names P-Z and will meet there at 15:40.
- If you join us for the object session at The Wyvern Institute, a meeting point will be sent to you via email. We will meet there at 15:30.

You are responsible for your own transportation to the start of the excursions. Please note that bags, trolleys or large backpacks are not allowed in the museums.
For the excursion to Westminster Abbey, we will meet at the Cloister Entrance, Dean’s Yard (Group Entrance) at 9:45. Groups will be divided on the spot.
You are responsible for your own lunch on Friday.
For the excursion to the British Library, we will meet at the entrance (96 Euston Rd) at 14:15.
