Call for papers
The call for papers for our upcoming conference, focusing on mixed media artefacts and mixed media ensembles in the medieval and Renaissance period, has officially closed.
Conference programme
The programme has now been finalised and will feature lectures organised into three distinct sessions (Masters of Material: Workshop Practices and Mixed Media Innovations; From Ceiling to Tomb: The Chapel as a Mixed Media Ensemble; Archival Insights and Material Semantics: Understanding Mixed Media Sculptures).
In addition to these lectures, participants will have the opportunity to join exclusive excursions and object sessions, including: object handling sessions at the British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, and The Courtauld Gallery, where participants will closely examine mixed media artefacts; and site visits to Westminster Abbey and the British Library.
